Ruth Manning is a singer/songwriter from the Annapolis Valley and she has been singing for her entire life. From the early 1990s to 2016, Ruth has performed with many groups, including 18 years with the band Triple Time, a Maritime Tour with Ryan Cook and the Valley Singers in 2015, and many other performances all over the province.
Currently, Ruth is very excited about her new band Ruth Manning and the Prospectors who have been playing together since November of 2016 with great success. In addition to live performances, Ruth has recorded three CDs. The most recent, entitled “Tennessee Calling” was released in July of 2015 and earned Ruth a nomination for Music Nova Scotia’s Country Recording of the Year. Ruth’s latest project is her first music video for her song “Unsung Heroes” which was just released on social media and Youtube in May 2017.
